WHAT IS PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT?

Personal development is a lifelong process that assists you in evaluating your life goals and upskilling to reach your full potential. It enables you to take control of your activities and be proactive. You may not always achieve your goal, but you live a more fulfilling life because you have a defined purpose. Personal development is important for happiness and success in life.

By accepting specific self-improvement practices, you can work on your development. These are characteristics and qualities that you either already possess or can acquire through education and training. The following are some examples of common personal development skills:

  • Good communication allows you to express yourself clearly and confidently.
  • Interpersonal skills are those that enable you to form bonds with others and create an impression on them in social situations.
  • Problem-solving abilities that allow you to come up with the best answers when faced with a challenge
  • Adaptability qualities that allow you to rapidly and readily change to new surroundings while being calm in unexpected scenarios
  • Leadership abilities that assist you in guiding others, as well as boosting morale and confidence.

WHAT IS SELF-DEVELOPMENT?

‘Personal development and self-development are sometimes used interchangeably, yet they are two distinct approaches to life. The former concentrates on acquiring new skills and giving life a new direction. The latter is concerned with ways to make things better that are already a part of one’s life. Both procedures are concerned with personal development and should not be confused with one another.

Self-development is a deliberate process of enhancing one’s abilities in numerous areas of life. It’s a never-ending quest for improvement through the acquisition of new skills, talents, and knowledge. Being a self-fulfilled individual is the ultimate goal of self-development. There are three main components to the procedure:

SKILL ENHANCEMENT:

There are two skill enhancement processes, personal and interpersonal effectiveness. Interpersonal skills are concerned with how you interact with others and form bonds. Goal-setting, time management, decision-making, and stress management are examples of personal effectiveness skills.

MENTAL CONDITIONING:

By envisioning what we want to achieve, we can focus on our goals. This aids in the maintenance of a positive mindset, as well as the improvement of self-esteem and self-confidence. Meditation, breathing exercises, and relaxation activities are examples of mental conditioning practices that have been shown to improve concentration and performance.

HABIT CREATION:

A habit is a set of habitual behaviors or inclinations that occur without conscious thought. Breaking bad behaviors is challenging, but not impossible. We may also change our habits and bring about beneficial adjustments to enrich our lives.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Our focus is on motivation, self-improvement, and success insights. Motivation, Money, Mindset, Fitness, Fearlessness, Confidence, Self-Belief, Self-discipline, Goal setting, Productivity, Success Secrets, and Motivational Quotes are all topics we enjoy reading about. We also enjoy motivational/inspiring articles about overcoming hardship, taking action, achieving goals, and stories of people’s pursuit of personal achievement (i.e. success stories of well-known persons, as well as everyday GO-getters), which will be archived in our Strive Stories area.
  • We like high-impact articles that are between 1200 and 3000 words in length, with a two-paragraph introduction and good quality subheadings. Take a look at some of our previous Write for us Self development blogs to get a sense of what we’re looking for and what we’ve already published.
  • Our content should be educational, entertaining, and cheerful. We want to motivate and inspire our readers to take action on their goals and dreams. As a result, we don’t want you to rely on extensive statements and speeches to make your point or provide information.
  • We DO NOT promote guest blogger’s websites, products, or services in the body of the article ( one highly contextual link that adds value to our readers may be considered for inclusion in the body of the article at the judgment of our lead editor, but it is not guaranteed ). Our goal is to provide useful advice to our readers, not to sell your products and services. That will be done for you by your bio at the bottom of your article (one link max. allowed in bio, unless 2nd is to a social media profile).
  • Content that has already been published will not be accepted. It’s crucial to be unique. If it has already been published, whether on your blog, social media sites, or with another publication, we will not consider it.
  • We DO NOT accept stuff that isn’t up to par. We appreciate contributors that take pride in their work, as well as our readers. Potential authors who spend little time writing an article in just to get a hyperlink are easy to recognize, and they rarely make it past our editorial team.
  • Your article should be well-planned, well-structured, and valuable, with one or more of the following elements: instructive, humorous, emotive, or entertaining material. In a nutshell, it should be worth your time to read.
  • We do not accept links that have been paid for. However, Write for us Self development are open to advertising agreements and sponsored post collaborations.
